When you visit Hyles Baptist Church, you can expect a warm welcome, a sincere spirit of worship, and a strong commitment to the truth of God's Word. We are an independent, fundamental Baptist church that joyfully stands on the unchanging truths of Scripture. All of our preaching and teaching is from the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.
As an independent church, we are not part of a larger denomination or governing body. Our leadership and direction come solely from the Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As a fundamental church, we believe in and preach the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith - such as the inspiration and authority of Scripture, the virgin birth, the deity of Christ, salvation by grade through faith, and the literal return of Jesus Christ.
We want every service to be a time of genuine worship, clear Bible preaching, and spiritual encouragement. You'll find uplifting, Christ-honoring music, practical Bible messages, and friendly people who are serious following Jesus.
No mater where you are in your spiritual journey - whether you're seeking truth, returning to your faith, or looking for a church family - you are welcome here. Our prayer is that you'll not only feel at home, but that you'll also grow in your walk with the Lord through your time with us.

What to expect at Hyles Baptist Church
A Simple Prayer of Salvation
If you’ve never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, you can do so right now. It’s not about the words you say, but the faith in your heart. Here’s a simple prayer you can pray:
“Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and I deserve to be separated from You. But I believe that Jesus died for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Right now, I place my faith in Jesus Christ alone to save me. I ask You to forgive me of my sin and give me the gift of eternal life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
